Grazing Steed is a horse breeding facility dedicated to improving workhorse breeds by combining tradition with innovation. Our goal is to breed horses that excel in their roles and also have a striking appearance. We aim for our horses to set the standard for excellence in the industry. Our facility is located on a beautiful peninsula in the Hennigans Stead region, just east of the river behind Theive's Landing. This stunning landscape provides the perfect setting for our commitment to breeding horses that show strength, grace, and exceptional skill.

Broodmares
Welcome to the Broodmare page!
Here at Grazing Steed, we strive to ensure all mares present are well-bred to fit the needs of all equestrians! Below is Grazing Steed's Breeding Policy, as well as the list of all our mares currently living on the property or at one of our sister facilities. Each mare is fully trained, shod, and well fed.Breeding policy is as such:
-Mares do not leave our facilities to breed. Waiting mothers must stay in the care of a Grazing Steed employee at all times.
-Studs being brought in to breed with mares must be given to a Grazing Steed employee to breed, and they will be immediately returned to the owner upon a successful breeding.
-The cost of breeding ( $500 ) is already implemented into the mares' listed breeding price.
-If a foal/filly is produced that you are not happy with and wish to breed again, you will need to pay for the breeding fee of $500 per retry, nothing more.
-If you are unhappy with the foal produced, as it's not what you want and you do not wish to do more breeding, I will happily refund your money. In the case of a refund, I keep the foal/filly(s).w

Studs
Welcome to the Stud page!
Here at Grazing Steed, we strive to ensure all stallions present are healthy and able to sire the best lineages! Below is Grazing Steed's Stud Policy, as well as the list of all our stallions currently living on the property or at one of our sister ranches. Each stallion is fully trained, shod, and well fed.Stud policy is as such;
-Studs will temporarily leave our facility to the owner in the event the stud is bred to another facility's mare. The stud must be returned to the Grazing Steed employee as soon as possible after a successful breeding.
-The cost of breeding ( $500 ) is already implemented into the stud's listed breeding price.
-If the stud is being bred to one of Grazing Steed's broodmares, the mare's breeding cost is added to the total, tho $500 will be taken off the total as only one breeding will take place.
-If a foal/filly is produced that you are not happy with and wish to breed again, you will need to pay for the breeding fee of $500 per retry.
-If you are unhappy with the foal produced, as it's not what you want and you do not wish to do more breeding, I will happily refund your money. In the case of a refund, I keep the foal/filly(s).

About the ranch
Grazing Steed's Staff
Martin Everett
Martin Everett-Reznov is the owner of Grazing Steed. He opened the ranch's doors in January of 2024, and since then, he has focused on ensuring each steed on the property receives the best life possible while in his care. Despite his resting bitch face and rather large intimidating figure, Martin is best described as a gentle giant. He is a type of man that treats all he meets with respect and kindness until they prove they are not worthy of it. He rarely shows any emotion besides joy, as he isn't one to be vulnerable even around those he cares for. Martin isn't quick to anger, and it takes a lot to get him worked up. He is incredibly patient and gentle, and rarely uses force to get his way.
~His full name is Martin Ethel Everett. He is 40.
~Martin is formal about his name. He does not like nicknames, and only allows them from Amelia (his best friend).
~Martin primarily wears his classic red plaid work shirt, with suspenders, jeans, and leather gloves. However, he does own many of his shirts in different colors, and can be caught wearing blue, green, grey, and even pink plaid depending on what's clean.
~He is nearsighted, and needs glasses to see things at a distance. He can manage without them, but he prefers to wear his glasses near all the time.
~He knows how to play both the Piano and Guitar, having learned it from Amelia during his youth. He only owns a guitar, but still remembers how to play the piano.
Lauren Smith
As the ranch grew, Martin struggled to handle the entire ranch himself. He hired on Lauren to handle the stud farm. She presented the idea of the retiree program, which Martin gave her the position of overseeing it. She enjoys the calm quiet life this job, as she prefers the presence of equines more then other people. Lauren takes her job seriously and ensures each stud and retiree under her watch is well cared for.If Martin isn't around, she is who to go to next with questions and operations of the entire ranch.
~Her full name is Lauren Yale Smith. She is 31.
~Similar to Martin, Lauren is formal about her name and is not a fan of nicknames.
~Despite working on the ranch, she prefers dressing nicer then other ranchhands.
~Lauren is a widow. Her husband was killed by robbers when their son, Cooper Smith, was only 3 years old. He is now 10.~She is the joke canon brain child to Ally Johnson (Fenris) and Fred Smith (Robin).
Kai Arasaka
Kai Arasaka is a ranch hand at Grazing Steed. He primarily favors working with the mares, although its believed he only does to stay away from the stallions because of their overseer, Lauren. Since arriving on the farm, Kai hasn't gotten along with anyone, fellow farmhands included, except for one. His ginger haired boss appears to be the only one the strange man will open up to, and the two often are found deep in conversation while caring for the mares. Besides a few details he has spoken about to Martin, little is known about this man's past life. Only that he refuses to speak of it.
~He is of Japanese heritage.
~He is allergic to peas.
~Does not speak to anyone but his boss.
~Kai physically is 18, but when he speaks, he does so with the wisdom of someone much older.
~Kai was one of the first hired by Martin in the early days of the ranch, and has been with Grazing Steed for over 10 years.
~Rumors among the ranchhand's is that Kai and Martin had a temporary fling in his earlier days serving the ranch.♡
Fun fact; the character Kai Arasaka belongs to the creator of Grazing Steed's irl fiance.
Grazing Steed Competition Tack
Grazing Steed primarily focuses on breeding, but our horses that compete—whether through our Catch-Riding services, registered with Grazing Steed, or ridden by staff—can be easily identified by their tack sets, with examples shown below.Grazing Steed competition colors are Cyan, Brown, and Yellow.
